Winter Alley

A freezing afternoon strolling around Moorabbin after some vintage shopping in the area, we came across this brick alleyway. Luckily before the rain started we managed to take some photographs. I was all rugged up in my Bardot black assasin cardi (yes, I have both colours) and new chunky scarf from Sportsgirl. I'm looking forward to sharing some great vintage jackets I found on the day, bit of tartan, houndstooth and tweed.

Myer Miss Shop

Thursday night for the Paint It Red campaign launch at the Myer Basement, I wore this leopard print skirt by Princess Highway with a black bomber jacket and tee from Bardot. Both brands are available downstairs in the Myer basement in the Miss shop section. We took these photographs outside the GPO building, I've always loved this part of the city.

Paint It Red x How Two Live

Thursday night at the Myer Bourke street basement, Famous presented the launch of the new Paint It Red campaign styled and modelled by sister bloggers Jess and Stef from How Two Live. The night started with some craziness for the free lolly bar, amazing goodie bags and many mini cupcakes!  

The girls then arrived for a Q&A with famous magazine and presented their styled looks from the Paint It Red campaign. The whole collection is at a great price point from $29.95 to $99.95, with an added bonus for guests receiving 20% off for the night. Leather Look

Lately I've been buying pieces with leather look details, including sleeved jackets, my favourite pair of shorts, a pleated skirt and some accessories. I would say it's a new phase but I consider them all classic pieces that can be toned down with other basic items. Here I'm wearing a jacket from Bardot, the 'textured biker jacket' with full leather look sleeves, textured fabric, top stitching details and featured exposed zippers. 

I've paired it with this top from Sportsgirl, also with full leather look sleeves. I love the texture of the knit with a slight metallic appearance and rib hem.
